Cylinder Head Inspection Systems
Online Automated Inspection Machine – 2 robots – 6 camera EZVision I2X- with data collection. This machine is programmed to find defects on cylinder heads.
The operator will select the part type through a PanelMate Operator Interface.
The machine will then automatically determine if the part is a left or right hand part and run the appropriate inspection set depending on part type.
Once the part is placed on the indexer table, it is rotated into the inspection area. A four-axis robot controlled by the SEL G controller moves two cameras and lights around the cylinder head.
When all inspections are completed, the operator will be informed of a Pass/Fail via a stack light mounted over the Operator Station. Additionally, if the part should fail, a reject tag will be printed.
