Valve Spring Length

The purpose of the machine is to inspect various plugs (varying in shape and size) for visible defects using a three Insight 5100 machine vision cameras. The machine housing is made of aluminum extrusion and paneling.

The housing serves both to protect the operators and to minimize the effects of ambient light on the inspections.

The housing has four doors. Each door is monitored using a safety-interlock switch.
