Drum Lids

The purpose of this installation is to automatically load round sheets of steel into a press loader by picking them up off a stack, rotating them into position, and then setting them down in the press loader’s receptacle.

This installation consists of a rigid steel frame constructed of 3” Square tubing, a Festo pneumatic system, a MicroLigix 1500 PLC, an AutomationDirect HMI, and a 5000 lb lift table.
